The holiday cottages are within easy reach of the A523 which runs between the A6 near Hazel Grove, Stockport, and the A52 at Calton Moor, Ashbourne.

From Macclesfield

At the roundabout on the A523 where the Silk Road becomes London Road, by Tytherington Business Park, take the third exit onto Bollington Road (B5090). Follow Bollington Road as winds its way up through the village, and becomes Henshall Road, Wellington Road and Palmerston Street.

At the top of Bollington, at the end of Palmerston Street, there is a mini roundabout. Take the second exit, onto Shrigley Road, then immediately turn right onto Ingersley Road. There is a small bus shelter on the left, and the New Con Club on the right. Note that on some maps, Ingersley Road may appear as an exit from the roundabout.

At the Poacher’s Inn, Ingersley Road bears left and becomes Smith Brow. Continue up this steep section of road and take the first left turn onto Spuley Lane (signed Pott Shrigley). Follow Spuley Lane for approximately 0.2 miles as it descends slightly into the valley.

Hedge Row is on the right-hand-side, just before a small layby. The cottages are a first properties on the left. Please park in front for unloading and then return to Spuley Lane and take the first right through the cast iron gates to find the permanent parking area in front of the games room. A path at the side leads you through a 5 bar gate to the front door of your cottage.

From Stockport

At the traffic lights on the A523 London Road junction with Mill Lane and Brookledge Lane (approximately 4 miles from the A6), turn left by the side of the Legh Arms onto Brookledge Lane. Follow this road for approximately 1.2 miles (1.9km).

Brookledge Lane rises up through Adlington towards Pott Shrigley, and after approximately 1.6 miles it bears sharp right at a small triangular junction, where it becomes Shrigley Road. 30mph speed limit signs mark the entry into Pott Shrigley, shortly after which the road bears sharp right at Pott Shrigley Church. Continue past the church, and just beyond the national speed limit signs, turn left onto Spuley Lane.

Follow Spuley Lane for approximately 0.7 miles. Hedge Row is on the left-hand-side, just beyond a small layby. The cottages are a first properties on the left. Please park in front for unloading and then return to Spuley Lane and take the first right through the cast iron gates to find the permanent parking area in front of the games room. A path at the side leads you through a 5 bar gate to the front door of your cottage.
