Lyme Park

Lyme Park’s medieval manor house is Cheshire’s largest house, and a Grade 1 listed building.

Surrounding the house are formal gardens of about 15 acres, and over 1,300 acres of moorland deer park — famous for its herds of red and fallow deer.

From the exposed heights of the Cage (a former hunting lodge and lock-up for prisoners), to the shaded woodlands, the moorlands and park make excellent walking territory.
